Key Responsibility:

1.    Close collaboration with global stakeholders for the execution of biomarker assays for projects in China including:

1) identify appropriate China local labs, engaged in assay transfer, assay development, assay validation, and/or bridging study to China analytical labs for DS clinical trials in China; 

2) provide input from China perspective on biomarker related sections of clinical study protocols/ICF/Lab manual to ensure instructions on sample collection, processing and shipping requirements accurately;

3) oversee biomarker tests in China local lab and ensure data are delivered to global in timely and compliant manner with high quality; 

4) Contribute to HGRAC application by providing inputs/edit and review biomarker content.

2.    Contribute to China development plan with biomarker strategy and implementation plans in China as the Biomarker representative in China

3.    Provide scientific background of assets/project to Identify translational/biomarker data gap by interacting with KEEs in China

Qualification required:

Education

•        Master degree and above (PhD preferred) majored in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biological Science or related.

Working experience

·       5 or More Years of work experience in pharmaceutical Biomarker/diagnostics setting

·       Knowledge in cancer biology, broad technical expertise, and direct experience in biomarker assay development/validation in clinical trial

·       Experience with HGRAC sample exportation will be a plus Language:

•        Fluent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills Skills:

·      Experience and expertise in spatial platforms (e.g. mIHC, imaging mass cytometry, spatial transcriptomics) is desirable.

·      Be familiar with China local lab capability/capacity

·      A strong preference for a candidate with broad technical knowledge and experience analysing complex data.

·      Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an international matrixed team environment.

·      Strong communication and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of intercultural differences.

·      Ability of multitask across assets and projects
